The City of Xenia is hiring Part-Time Court Security Officers to join our team.
The City is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Part-Time Court Security Officer. This role provides security services for approximately 20 hours per week at City facilities. Applications are being accepted for both armed and unarmed Court Security Officers.
Pay is $30.00 per hour.
Responsibilities include monitoring and screening pedestrian traffic before entering secure areas, detaining wanted persons, maintaining peace within the court environment, and responding to emergencies promptly and effectively.
Shawnee Park will be closed to fishing from now until Saturday morning in preparation for the Fishing Derby. The pond has just been stocked, and we want to make sure the fish are still there so every child has a chance to reel one in on derby day.

Culy Contracting will be working in the rear alleys along N. King St. this week to clean and inspect the sanitary sewer mains. Work begins today and is expected to be completed by the end of the week.
