    Sergeant Scott A. Beegle began his career in law enforcement with the Greene County Sheriff’s Office in November 1997, he then moved to the Xenia Police Division in January 1999 where he served 12 years as a patrol officer. As a patrol officer, he performed specialized assignments such as Field Training Officer, Bike Patrol, Evidence Technician, Crisis Negotiations Team member, Training Committee member, Division Armorer and BAC Operator. Scott has received the Leadership Award, 4 Meritorious Service Awards, the Distinguished Service Award, Two Life Saving Awards, FPOA Officer of the Year Award, and the MADD Award. Scott was assigned to Criminal Investigations Unit as a detective in July of 2012, where he handled general felony level cases. During this time he was also assigned to the FBI for The Miami Valley Violent Crimes Against Children Task Force. Scott received the Child Advocate of the Year Award in 2014, from the Greene County Children’s Services. Scott was promoted to patrol sergeant in March 2014, he oversees the division armory, coordinates all special events in the city, and is the Crisis Negotiations Commander, along with the day to day street operations of the city.

    He was born and raised here in Xenia graduating from Xenia High School in 1990. He then enlisted in the U.S. Army in 1991 as a Combat Engineer. During his time in the military he deployed to Somalia in 1993 during Operation Restore Hope. Scott attended The Public Safety Leadership Academy at The Ohio State University in 2018. He is currently a sitting board member of the Greene County Agricultural Society (fair board) for over 12 years. Scott has 2 children Brett and Audrie.

    Sergeant Matt Foubert began his career in law enforcement with the Xenia Police Division in February 1996 where he served 23 years as a patrol officer. As a patrol officer, he performed specialized assignments such as Field Training Officer, Bike Patrol, Evidence Technician, SWAT Team member, Training Committee member and BAC Operator. Matt has received the Community Policing Award, the Leadership Award, A Meritorious Service Award, Three Distinguished Service Awards, Three Silver Shield Awards and Four MADD Awards. Matt was promoted to Sergeant in March of 2019.

    He graduated from Ohio Wesleyan University in 1993 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology and a minor in Psychology. He is currently the assistant offensive line coach for the Xenia High School varsity football team and competes as a powerlifter with a highlight of winning the overall at the 2011 Ohio Police and Fire Games 220 lbs and over. He is married to his wife Lynn since 2001 and they have 3 children Marissa, Ryon and Kara.

    Sgt. Matt Miller has been with the department since 2002 where he was a bike patrol officer, field training officer, evidence tech, OLC president and a BAC operator.  In 2014, Sgt Miller was assigned to the detective section as a general detective and was an arson investigator, CVSA operator and property room manager.  He was then promoted to Patrol Sergeant in 2022.  He is currently assigned to evening / midnight supervisor. Sgt. Miller oversees Community / Precision Policing and is the Commander of the Special Technology Unit (drones).  Sgt. Miller has received the Silver Shield Commendation, Distinguished Service Award, Meritorious Service award, Leadership Award, Child Advocate of the year and Casey Elliott Memorial "City Finest" award.
