Each year, X-REC and the Xenia Area Association of Churches and Ministries collaborate to bring you a FREE Easter EGGstravaganza at Shawnee Park, which traditionally occurs the day before (Saturday) Easter Sunday. There are designated areas for the following: Prewalkers, Walkers thru Age 4, Ages 5-8, and Ages 9-12. There is also a designed special needs area. Children should bring their own baskets/bags for the egg collection. Please dress for the weather. This event occurs rain or shine or SNOW!
This year's event will be held on Saturday, April 8, 2023. Registration begins at 10 a.m. BACK THIS YEAR is the Helicopter Egg Drop at 10:30 a.m., and the staggered start egg hunts will begin at 11 a.m. -- listen for the sound of a horn for each egg hunt group (prewalkers, walkers thru Age 4, Ages 5-8, Ages 9-12, and an area for those with special needs).
